Client on revision seven — how do you cap this politely?
Fixed price brand and website job. We agreed two rounds of revisions in writing. We are on round seven because "just one more tiny tweak" keeps arriving on WhatsApp.
I like them and want the referral, but I am now working for about £11 an hour. What is the actual wording you use to draw the line without blowing up the relationship?

Also get off WhatsApp. Anything not in email or the project tool does not exist. That single rule cut my scope creep in half.
Do not frame it as a complaint, frame it as a process. Something like: "We are past the two revision rounds in the agreement, which is completely normal on a project this involved. I will keep a running list and quote it as a small phase two at £X so we can get phase one live and earning."
You are not saying no, you are saying next, and with a price.
Add a line to your next contract: revisions beyond round two billed at £X per hour, minimum 30 minutes. You will rarely charge it, but people suddenly batch their feedback.
Sent Dee's wording almost word for word. They apologised, and approved a £900 phase two. Astonishing.
